VEDGE CAFE GOES VEGAN
Vedge Cafe changes logo tag line to “Vegan Goodness”
Ann Arbor, MI (August 27, 2018) - Vedge Cafe is changing its tag line from “Vegan and Vegetarian Goodness” to “Vegan Goodness”. The change comes just months before the two-year anniversary of their opening. If plans are achieved, Vedge Cafe will open on Tuesday, August 28th featuring its new menu and logo. The new menu has all of the favorites from before, plus some surprises. The most notable addition is the new Vedge Stromboli, priced at only $9.99.
On dropping “Vegetarian” from the logo, Registered Dietitian, Owner and Cook, Amanda Ratke, said: “This is a change we have been wanting to make for awhile. We have many fans of the vegetarian Vedge TMB S’Wich, but I think we can do one better. Our new Vedge Stromboli is the perfect way to cure your pizza crave. I am looking forward to delighting our customers with some new vegan creations that will tickle their tastebuds.”.
Open since November 2016, Vedge Cafe is a quick service restaurant and caterer, serving vegan fare, which, in some cases, is named similar to its carnivorous counterpart. The menu features two soups per day, salads, warm and cold sandwiches, smoothies and desserts, with specials on-occasion. The name “Vedge” implies the edge of veganism, under the premise that food is a personal journey for everyone. Those working toward a change of diet may be comforted by favorites, such as the Irish Reuben, featuring a house-made seitan called “Corned Feeb”, a vegan alternative to Corned Beef.
Vedge Cafe is located at 205 N. Main St. in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They are open Tuesday through Sunday, offering dine-in, take-away and delivery services. Please see their website www.VedgeCafeA2.com for hours of operation.
